Specification
Cobalt nitrate is a mineral compound and usually has a different number of water crystallizations. The most common form is the hexahydrate Co(NO3)2·6H2O, which is a red prismatic crystal. It is freely soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and methyl acetate, slightly soluble in ammonia.
