Cobalt tetraoxide is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Co3O4. Cobalt Tetraoxide is easy to absorb moisture in the exposed air, but does not form hydrates. Soluble in nitric acid. When heated above 1200 °C, it will decompose into cobalt oxide
